Janhvi Kapoor describes her dream man; we wonder if boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya is taking notes!

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are busy promoting their upcoming romantic sports drama Mr And Mrs Mahi. The duo were recently spotted at the launch of the film’s first song, Dekhha Tenu. While there, the film’s leads interacted with the media and got candid about several things,, including the qualities she envisions in her Mr Perfect.

During the song launch event, Kapoor and Rao also spoke about Mahi – aka Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) and how the film is inspired by his philosophy. Scroll below to know all that they said.

Janhvi describes her Mr Perfect

Describing her dream man, Janhvi Kapoor said, “Aisa insaan joh mere sapno ko apna sapna banade. Mujhe himmat de, mujhe badhawa de. Mujhe khushi de, mujhe hasaiye . Aur jab main roti hu tabhi bhi mere saath de… Aisa koi insaan chahiye mujhe.” (I want a guy who will make my dreams his dreams. Who will give me strength and motivate me. Someone who will make me happy, make me laugh; and even when I’m sad they will be by my side.)

Janhvi, Rajkummar on MS Dhoni

During the same conversation, the Mr And Mrs Mahi couple were asked about being fans of MS Dhoni and whether they would show him the film. To this, Rajkummar Rao replied, “Hum kya, puri duniya unki fan hai. Bahut zyada pasand hai humme. Hum bahut pyaar karte hai unhe.” (Not only us, but people across the globe are his fans. We like him a lot.) To this Janhvi Kapoor added, “Kon nahi hai unka fan? Unhone humare desh ke liye joh kiya, cricket ke liye joh kiya… Main yeh bhi khena chahungi ki cricketer hone ke anusaar hum unse pyaar nahi karte, balki unki mijaaz ke liye, jis tarah ke insaan woh hai.” (Who isn’t his fan? The things he’s done for India, especially cricket… We don’t only love and respect him as a cricketer, but also because of the kind of person he is.)

She continued, “Recalling an interview where Dhoni said ‘it’s not the result that matters, it’s the journey. Hard work will make you successful – even if the results aren’t seen immediately,’ Janhvi added, “I think yeh puri film uss ek Mahendra Singh Dhoni ke line pe banni hui hai. I hope hum unke philosophy ko theek tarah se honour kar paye. Of course hum unko yeh film dhikhana chahite hai. Unko aur unki wife ko, par woh kafi busy hai.” (I think our film is based on his philosophy – do your best, don’t worry about the result. I hope we did it justice in the film. We want to show the film to Dhoni and Sakshi, but they are busy.)
